While ownership has changed over the decades, the spirit of South Plains Lanes has remained the same. Today, under the ownership of Walter Hanel of Hanel Properties, LLC, a lifelong Lubbock bowler, the center is being restored to its full potential while staying true to the foundation that made it special from the very beginning: its people.
For generations, South Plains Lanes has been a place where memories are made, friendships are built, and the love of bowling is passed from one generation to the next. That legacy continues today as we welcome everyone—from first-time bowlers to seasoned competitors—to be part of our story.
